Since the establishment of the hospital, Xuzhou Renci Hospital has defined the core values of "love", the management tenet of "Kindness, Care, Benevolence, and Charity" as well as the hospital motto of "Pursuing Benevolence, Respecting Medicine, Refining Skills, and Seeking the New".

Renci Hospital aims to develop into "a paradise for employees to work, a fertile soil for talents to grow, a holy place for medical services, a temple for scientific research and innovation, and a platform for international exchanges". Renci Hospital attaches great importance to the talent training, which has successively sent more than 60 middle-level management cadres to Peking University and Tsinghua University for training. Nearly 20 outstanding employees have been employed as lifelong employees and Young technical backbones actively carry out scientific research activities. Meanwhile, a number of scientific research achievements have won technological invention patents and provincial and municipal scientific and technological progress awards. Moreover, dozens of core journals from statistical sources and international SCI papers are published every year.

Renci Hospital has determined the development concept of "talents are the foundation of hospital development, organization is the foundation of hospital development, and culture is the soul of hospital development". Every year, hundreds of thousands of yuan are invested to update the books of the staff bookstore. Party workers' activity room, staff growth classroom, staff legal aid room, staff psychological consultation room and staff activity center have been established to help staff grow up and enrich their spare time life. Renci Hospital has actively undertaken more social responsibilities, devoted to social public welfare undertakings, and provided medical assistance to social vulnerable groups and heated groups, such as assisting victims working in black coal mines who shocked the whole country, and participating in the rescue operation for the wounded in the Kunshan bombing in Jiangsu Province.

In 2010, Renci Hospital launched the public welfare activity of "Millions Money for Medical Assistance to the Poor in Return for the Society", donating 1 million yuan to charity donations to hospitalized patients with economic difficulties, which has won unanimous favorable comments from patients and all walks of life.

In July 2019, the 2019 China Hospital Culture Construction Seminar was held in Xuzhou Renci Hospital. Dean Zong Yali showed and discussed the content of "Sticking to the Culture of Love", which was highly recognized by dozens of hospital culture researchers, experts and hospital managers from domestic media, universities and hospitals.
